Alle attrattive golose, vino e tartufo in testa, si aggiungono quelle storiche e artistiche risalenti soprattutto all’epoca romana e medievale. Dell’antica Alba Pompeia rimangono testimonianze nel centro storico che però oggi mantiene in prevalenza l’aspetto medievale connotato dalle numerose torri e caseforti che accolgono il visitatore. Delle leggendarie cento torri ne sono rimaste una ventina di cui alcune incorporate in palazzi, altre abbassate a livello dei tetti. Alba, la "ville aux cent tours", offre de nombreuses possibilités pour une agréable visite, d'un aliment commercial et du vin du plus haut niveau. Pour commodités délicieuse, le vin et la truffe dans la tête, plus l'histoire et de l'art datant de l'époque romaine et médiévale en particulier. Témoignages ancienne Alba Pompeia restent dans la vieille ville, mais reste aujourd'hui principalement l'aspect médiéval caractérisé par de nombreux tours et maisons fortifiées qui accueillent les visiteurs. Les légendaires cent tours ont été laissés dont une vingtaine de certains palais construits dans d'autres, le toit de niveau inférieur.
